Food Network Kits Aren't Just on TV Anymore

In Partnership with Food Network Kitchen Inspirations

We talked to Katie from KY and here’s what she had to say:

If Katie Had a Food Network Show
My Food Network segment would be about cooking for families on a budget. It's not easy in today's world to cook for a family, and I would like to show others how it is done.
Her Experience Making the Food Network Kit…
The prep of the Food Network Kit wasn't that bad. I did not purchase some of the recommended extras, except for the chicken, but I was pleased with how long it took to prepare the meal.
Katie’s Thoughts On The Flavor…
I purchased the Southwest Chicken and Rice. The sauce was a little too spicy so I didn't use all of it. I enjoyed the heartiness of the meal.
Why she’d Make a Food Network Kit on her Show
I would highlight this meal as one a family could cook for a quick dinner after sports practices or getting home late from work. This meal would feed a small family with the addition of perhaps a salad.
