A New Busy Weeknight Dinner Option
In Partnership with Food Network Kitchen Inspirations
We talked to Ashley from GA and here’s what she had to say:
If Ashley Had a Food Network Show
At this stage in my life, I think my show would be called Quick Fix! With three small children and school schedules and everything else that goes into keeping our family running, I am all about easy, fast, tasty meals.
Her Experience Making the Food Network Kit…
The instructions on the Food Network Kit were easy to follow and it was convenient that they were printed on the back of the box as well as on a card inside the box. The preparation was fast and easy and it was all ready in under 30 minutes, which included my time cutting and cooking chicken.
Ashley’s Thoughts On The Flavor…
I purchased the Southwest-Style Chicken and Rice kit. I added some sour cream and guacamole to finish mine off and the flavors were exactly what I was expecting from this meal. There was a little bit of spice to it, but it was not overwhelming.
Why she’d Make a Food Network Kit on her Show
I like that the meal kit includes everything you need except for your protein. There's a good chance that everyone has some chicken on hand to throw in, so that would make this easy weeknight dinner option. This meal kit would be good to feature on a quick fix dinner show as something to keep on hand for busy nights when maybe you haven't had time to meal prep or plan. You can throw all of these pre-measured packets in and have a full meal ready in less than 30 minutes.
