When You Can Literally Taste Happiness

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Cristal from CA and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I first cracked the eggs in a cup. I heated a little oil in the pan and put the eggs in the oil. I fried it with some garlic salt and pepper. I didn't scramble it. I just ate it with some toast.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I love that idea. I grew up in a farm when I was young so I helped my grandmother pick the eggs. I remember how happy the hens would get when we would feed them. So the fact that these are raised just the same brings me back home.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I love potato egg salad. I just boil my 3 eggs with potatoes and carrots. Chop everything up and add some celery and some onion. Salt and pepper to taste. I can eat that anytime of the day, either as a side or a sandwich.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
We love to go hiking. It's a thing we do every Sunday. With everyone's busy schedule, getting together sometimes gets difficult. But making sure we go on a family walk has been something I have always asked everyone to make time for. I love being outdoors and seeing just how beautiful this world really is. Growing up in an open field really helped me appreciate the smaller things in life.
Brings me back to my childhood with fresh eggs on the table.
