Readily Available And Tastes Like Straight From The Farm

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.
We talked to Jennifer from PA and here’s what she had to say:
Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I brought about 1/2 a tablespoon of butter to a sizzle in a small skillet, lowered the heat, and cracked the eggs directly into the pan. Once the eggs were slightly firm, I flipped them and lowered the heat further. They cooked for about another minute until I had perfect eggs over easy. The whites held a nice light crunch and the yolks were flavorful and full.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I love the commitment to rigorous animal standards and the “happy certified” stamp. I typically purchase our family’s eggs from a local farm and it’s nice to have a readily available option that is on the same level as these if we run out or if I miss their limited hours.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I’d love to make bacon cheddar deviled eggs with these. I substitute sour cream for mayonnaise and mix in sharp cheddar cheese and bacon. Each are then garnished with additional bacon, cheese, and fresh chives.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
We love cycling and hiking. We regularly take walks through the local parks with our dogs and let them splash in the stream.
These delicious eggs are a great option for those looking for readily available pesticide- and hormone-free eggs laid by happy hens!
