Happy Is A Good Egg

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Jennifer from NV and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I fried the eggs in olive oil until they were medium and seasoned them with salt and pepper. I served them with leftover steak and freshly steamed broccoli. The eggs had bright whites and bright yellow yolks. They tasted delicious and had a rich flavor.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I love that they have such high standards. I hope they are successful and can continue to spread the love.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I love deviled eggs and would like to make Happy Deviled Eggs. I use horseradish in the yolk mixture and I like to try different toppings like red peppers, bacon, or sundried tomatoes.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
I like to eat well, listen to music, play guitar, play cat games with my cats, and travel.
Thanks to the happy hens who provided the delicious eggs.
