Happy Hens Produce Happy Eggs

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.
We talked to Melanie from TX and here’s what she had to say:
Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I prepared four of the Happy Eggs sunny side up for a quick lunch for my husband and me.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I do hope the welfare of the hens is monitored and of concern. I prefer pasture-raised eggs so that the chickens are free to be out and about and eating bugs and whatever they wish.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I will share my Happy Eggs with homeless veterans at The Patriot House. I would also share with families staying at the Ronald McDonald House when I bake them a Chocolate Sheet Cake when our Bible Class serves them a monthly dinner.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
Our favorite things to do are spend the day watching our godchildren, staying home with our 3 rescued boxer dogs, doing volunteer work, watching Premier League soccer, or taking in the occasional symphony.
I have enjoyed my Happy Eggs because I enjoy purchasing eggs from hens who are free to run and play and eat bugs as they choose.
