Happy Hens Make For Happy Eggs

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.
We talked to Erin from OK and here’s what she had to say:
Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I scrambled them and added them to homemade chicken fried rice. They were much better than the cheap eggs I typically buy. They had larger yolk and much heartier flavor.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I am against animal cruelty, so I love any company that puts love into their animals.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I already put them in a chicken fried rice. I’m going to be using them for an egg salad and deviled eggs for the Fourth of July tomorrow!
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
My mother-in-law has chickens, so I love to take my son to her house to help with the chickens. We also love going swimming, going to the park, and taking walks.
Organic Happy Egg Co. eggs are now my number one choice for eggs. I won’t go back to the cheap store brand!
