Happy Hens = Happy Eggs

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.
We talked to Stacey from AR and here’s what she had to say:
Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I pan-scrambled two eggs in bacon grease to eat in a breakfast burrito as a snack. The yolks were very pale compared to other brown eggs I’ve consumed in the past. The flavor was comparable to other eggs and was mild and pleasant.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
We have a flock of around 50 hens, as well as ducks and turkeys. We love our birds and greatly appreciate the commitment of The Happy Egg Co. to raise hens humanely and with love.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I would choose to make a vanilla egg custard topped with fresh raspberry compote.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
I love this! Our family and friends enjoy outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, and hiking, or hanging out on the beach.
Happy hens definitely make Happy Eggs! I love the company’s commitment to keeping those girls in an environment that they can enjoy and thrive in.
