Happy Eggs Offer Eaters Guilt-Free Protein

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.
We talked to Stephanie from CA and here’s what she had to say:
Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I made an egg salad with Happy Eggs. My grandmother always said brown eggs make cakes and egg salad taste better. My recipe was basic: eggs, 3 tbsp of mayonnaise, pickle relish, and a 1/2 tsp of mustard.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
Documentaries on the life of animals used for food helped me see the importance of their welfare. I agree that hens do not have to be treated poorly while being raised on farms.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
Happy Eggs would make excellent bacon-blue cheese deviled eggs. Their size and yolk are thick, full bodied. So they would be filling. All you do is cut a dozen boiled eggs in half, empty the yolks in a bowl and mix to taste with mayo, blue cheese, and chopped bacon bits. Then chill for 30 minutes.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
My favorite thing to do with family is travel. The most interesting venture was a whale watching trip in Alaska. They are beautiful, but daunting creatures.
By eating Happy Eggs, I can enjoy protein without all of the unhealthy stuff.
