Happy Eggs, Happy Life

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Kylie from TX and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I used my Happy Eggs to make scrambled eggs. I first sautéed chopped up green onions, white onions, and bell peppers in a skillet with oil. I then cracked two Happy Eggs into the skillet. After a slight cook to the Happy Eggs, I used my spatula to mix everything together and let the Happy Eggs cook while scrambling. I used cheddar cheese as a topping and some spinach.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
This is extremely important to me. As humans, it is our duty to protect this world, land, and animals. I try to only buy farm-raised eggs, and now that I know about this brand, I will be purchasing nothing else. I feel like I am making a difference in the world by purchasing these Happy Eggs.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I would love to make a summer version of chicken fried rice with these Happy Eggs to share with my boyfriend and his family. I try and go over for weekly dinners and this would be such a fun dish to have poolside with loved ones around.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
Some of my favorite activities include walking trails, swimming, and relaxing on the patio. I love being outside as much as possible. My boyfriend and I take weekly walks down our local city trails.
By eating Happy Eggs, I’m not only giving my body pure nutrients, but the chickens who produced these Happy Eggs are living their best life.
