Happy Eggs, Happy Chickens, Happy People! (Or Tummies)

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Kim from CA and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I fried the eggs and put them on top of a turkey burger. I also made hard boiled eggs and scrambled others. The yolk was a beautiful deep golden color and the white was fresh and stayed together nicely on the fried eggs.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
That's the primary thing I look for when buying eggs so it's very important to me. Knowing that Happy Egg Co. is so committed to that is a huge positive and I'll definitely buy these eggs regularly.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I will make poached eggs over asparagus with hollandaise sauce! Clafouti with summer berries would also be delicious! They would be perfect for family breakfasts or big get togethers.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
I love BBQs by the pool with lots of vegetarian options. These activities are quintessentially summer. Nighttime art festivals, outdoor music concerts, and movies in the park are also some of my favorite things if the weather is perfect for it.
Happy Eggs are incredibly fresh and delicious, and knowing they come from chickens who are treated humanely and with care makes me feel great about including them in my everyday meals.
