Happy Eggs = Happy Belly

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Emily from WA and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I scrambled these eggs for myself and my daughter for lunch. All I used was the egg and a little bit of butter. I'm used to very fresh eggs because my family used to have their own chickens and I think these are the freshest eggs I've ever had store bought. The flavor was great and when cracked, the egg didn't stick to the shell as much as it would on an older egg.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I've seen what a nasty, overly-cluttered chicken farm can look like, so I think it's great that Happy Egg Co. cares about the chickens for humanitarian reasons. I also think that taking good care of of the chickens leads to healthier chickens, therefore, better eggs.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I love making scrambled eggs for breakfast. Eggs, bell peppers, spinach, feta cheese, and tomatoes. This really brings a lot of fun to the eggs, but you still get to enjoy the taste of the eggs.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends by going on walks, going to the beach, or just barbecuing at home and enjoying good food.
Freshest store bought eggs I've ever tasted!
