Happy Eggs For Humanity

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Marissa from NV and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I made two over easy eggs in a frying pan with butter. The flavor was very good. Still not as good as the ones I get fresh from my parents’ chicken coop but one of the best store-bought eggs I’ve had.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I think that is wonderful! I have grown up with chickens my whole life and we always grass fed them and they were free range. Not only is it humane, but animals of any kind produce better products when they live a stress-free life.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I have been wanting to try baking an egg inside half of an avocado with bacon and cheese on top. I think Happy Eggs would taste great! I also love making deviled eggs for BBQs.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
I love having BBQs with the whole family because we always have a ton of food and we all play games and drink beer. My favorite thing to do with family, though, is to go camping at the lake. We have done that as a family every year since before I was born. My first camping trip was when I was 6 months old so it is a favorite family tradition. It is especially fun when we have our boat and jet skis!
It is refreshing to see that Happy Eggs are produced humanely and organic. Plus they taste great!
