Happy Eggs For A Happy Day!

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.
We talked to Jenny from CO and here’s what she had to say:
Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I fried two eggs – that’s how I like to eat them. No salt or pepper or additives. I like the yolks a little runny. I cooked one a little more than the other so I could try it both ways. One over easy and one broken and cooked yolk.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
It seems sincere and impressive. Most people are just in it for the money, but it would be a lot more work to have the space and time to raise hens like pets. I know you can charge more for free range, but still, it’s a lot of work.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I am going to make German pancakes. It’s a little more labor intensive than frying a couple eggs, but it’s a fun treat for breakfast for my family.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
We love to play board games because it’s something the whole family can enjoy. We also love shopping and finding great deals in order to save money.
Happy Eggs are delicious and a great way to a happy day — for you and the hens!
