Happy Eggs Equal Happiness

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Jessica from OH and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
The way I prepared my Happy Eggs was I cracked two eggs and scrambled them and let them cook in the frying pan. The reason why I prepared it was because I enjoy eating eggs anytime throughout the day, and I was very hungry and really looking forward to trying these eggs. I thought the flavor was excellent. It tasted very fresh as if the eggs had come right off of the farm. The eggs were very moist; they did not have the dry taste that other regular eggs have; they also were fluffier than what other eggs are like after they are scrambled.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I feel very good knowing that they are certified by the most rigorous animal welfare standards in the USA. I feel like they genuinely care about the health of their hens and are raising their hens ethically, providing the best care. By knowing this, I feel better about my purchase and I feel better knowing that I am serving my family eggs from a company that really cares. I feel like more companies should be following the same standards because this does make me see that this company really does care about both their hens and their customers.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
The summer recipe I would choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with is a casserole that has chicken, bacon, tomatoes, peppers, and squash all mixed together. The reason why is because I feel like the eggs would help to bring out the flavor of the meat, and this would also be a meal that would be more on the lighter side which is how I prefer to eat my dinner in the summer when eating out on the back deck with my family. I would share this meal with both family and friends because I feel like this could be a good dinnertime meal, but it could also be a good meal to have at a cook out or to bring over if friends were having us over for dinner or if I was having friends over to my house for dinner.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
Some of my favorite things to do with family and friends are going on picnics, going on hikes, going to the park and watch my kids play on the playset, and going to the local zoo. The reason why I like to do these things with my family and friends is because it gets us outside which is great in the summer; this way everyone can experience nature and learn new things and also at the same time we get the needed exercise that helps keep all of us healthy.
I absolutely love the taste of Happy Eggs and will not be going back to buying regular eggs anymore.
