Happy Eggs–Committed to Hen and Human Happiness

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Jessica from OR and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I prepared scrambled eggs because this is the most common way my boyfriend and I eat eggs. We eat scrambled eggs every morning for breakfast. The flavor was good, better than the traditional white eggs we usually prepare.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I am fairly passionate about animal rights and treating animals in a respectful manner, particularly when we are using these animals for personal gain. I really love that the Happy Egg Co. is committed to hen welfare when so many companies are unconcerned with animal rights.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
My absolute favorite summer recipe that I would use Happy Eggs with is avocado bacon deviled eggs. The additions of avocado and bacon provide the dish with even more flavor than traditional style deviled eggs, making it a popular dish among all my friends and family. I will be making this for the Fourth of July, as well as other barbecues!
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
I love anything active; my family, friends, and I regularly participate in rock climbing, soccer, frisbee, skiing, and other sports and activities that get your blood pumping! Sports and exercise really bring people together and can unify people from all backgrounds, which is amazing!
Happy Eggs not only taste great, but also provide hens with a better life and give consumers a chance to support a worthwhile cause.
