Great Eggs. Happy Hens.

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Christina from TX and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I made bacon, potatoes, and fried eggs over medium with buttered toast. We prefer our eggs to be cooked over medium where the whites are cooked through but the yolks are still wet. This way, we can dip our bacon or toast into the yolk. The Happy Eggs are very good. They have a desirable taste. The whites are soft and the yolk is rich. These eggs are better than other brands.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I am very pleased with Happy Egg Co.'s treatment of the hens. I never liked the idea of an animal being mistreated while performing services for us (performing services or not). I like that the hens have 8 acres to roam, be free, and be happy.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I prefer a standard breakfast -- bacon, potatoes, eggs over medium topped with hot sauce, refried beans and a tortilla. This would be a hearty breakfast for a long day!
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
We enjoy going fishing. Being able to sit out on the water in silence is very relaxing.
Happy Eggs are delicious and I feel good about buying their eggs knowing the hens have a happy life.
