In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Amber from ID and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I decided to hard boil my eggs. I placed the eggs in a pot with cold water and brought the water to a boil. After the water began to boil, I covered the pot, turned off the heat, and let it stand for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I placed the eggs in a bowl of ice-cold water to cool down quickly. I then peeled the eggs and ate one. It tasted fresh and delicious.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
The Happy Egg Co seems to care about their chickens. I like that the acreage for the hens is printed on the carton. I think it's great that a company is passionate about creating a great environment for their animals.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I would make a simple egg salad so I can show off the flavor of these eggs. I would mix hard boiled eggs with mayonnaise, a bit of dill, salt, and pepper then spread on a fresh croissant.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
I enjoy spending time outside in the sun and fresh air, possibly taking a hike or walking downtown and eating a meal at a restaurant.
