Energy for Egg-stra Energy

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.
We talked to Vera from LA and here’s what she had to say:
Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I poached my eggs and served on a rice bowl with sweet soy sauce, avocado, and cream cheese. I chose to prepare the eggs this way because I feel as though the egg is more flavorful when they are poached. The egg was flavorful and tasted like a farm fresh egg that I get from my neighborhood market.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I get excited when I read about companies supporting Animal Welfare. It makes me happy to know that the companies are taking the extra steps.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
A yummy summer recipe that I would incorporate Happy Eggs into is pickled eggs. They make great gifts for loved ones and are usually a hit at summer BBQs because they’re nice and cool and easy for everyone to eat. I love to take pickled eggs on hikes and all of my buddies are so thankful for the extra protein on the journey.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
Some of the favorite things I enjoy doing with my family and friends is getting out of the house and going on adventures. We like to pack picnics and hike, bike, kayak, or even just visit a local park.
Choosing Happy Eggs for my family gives me a warm fuzzy feeling because of the care of the company takes of their animals and in a way it makes me feel loved as a customer also.
