Eggs as a Part of a Healthy Diet for Athletes.

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Emese from CA and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I prepared an egg sunny side up in a non-stick pan with some olive oil. I made it for a snack. The flavor was good.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I appreciate the quality. I am also a proponent of humane treatment of animals.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I would prepare these eggs as deviled eggs or hard-boiled in a salad. The salad would be great for a light lunch during summer heat waves. The deviled eggs would be a great finger food for a get together.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
I love to run with my girls. I also enjoy hiking with my mom. I go on a bike ride every week with my significant other. I love being active and that is the way I like to spend time with the important people in my life.
I love the fact that these are free range eggs and organic as well.
