Egg-tastic

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Jodie from UT and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I prepared scrambled eggs. I cracked two Happy Eggs in a bowl with some milk and whisked them together. I added 2 tablespoons of butter to the frying pan and cooked the eggs stirring every once and awhile. The eggs turned out great. They were fluffy and had a great texture and flavor.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I am glad that Happy Egg Co. is committed to treating their animals well. It’s hard to see and hear the truth about how our food is raised by some companies. I wish more companies felt this way.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I would use Happy Eggs in my delicious summer brunch crepe recipe. My family loves fresh crepes with berries, vanilla creme, Nutella, and fresh whipped cream. Great eggs are the key to great crepes.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
I like to camp, hike, and go swimming with my family. It’s just nice to be outdoors and spend time with loved ones.
Happy Eggs are a great way to add something quick, easy, and healthy to your meals.
