Adventures of a Happy Egg

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Delia from CO and here’s what she had to say:

Q
Tell us what you made with your Happy Eggs!

A
I melted butter in a frying pan before frying two eggs. Then, I sprinkled some Penzey's Fox Point seasoning on them while they were frying to give it some flavor. The eggs taste hearty and delicious!
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I think it's great because happy animals produce good tasting food.
Q
Get creative! What yummy summer recipe would you choose to incorporate Happy Eggs with?

A
I am going to make a Vegetarian Chopped Salad with Happy Eggs because it's simple, delicious, light and filling. It's a fun recipe with baby greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, mushrooms, chickpeas, hard-boiled egg and goat cheese so there's no cooking involved beyond boiling the egg. I am going to share it with my family as an appetizer before our 4th of July cookout.
Q
Happy Egg Hens spend their days doing things they love [like perching, foraging + dust bathing]. What are some of your favorite things to do with family + friends?

A
We love to go four-wheeling in the desert and mountains. We like to hike, go geocaching & explore the outdoors. We live in an area where there's hardly any humidity so we really enjoy being outside in the world.
These are happy chickens because they produced Happy Eggs that were delicious to eat!
