9 Panini Recipes To Try This Month

I know every reader out there was aware that is August is Panini Month. How could you be unaware of such a momentous celebration!? I will be the first to admit that the impromptu Holidays are getting a little excessive, but who can’t help but join in on a month dedicated to melted cheese grilled between a yummy carb of choice? I’ve gathered 9 of my top Panini creations to try this month—the best thing about these recipes is that they are quick enough for a lunch, but you can also dress them up a little bit and have a filling dinner. Win win!

Caprese Panini

Tomatoes are in season in August, which means you need to make the most of it and put them to use in a Caprese Panini! Layer pesto sauce on 2 slices of Italian bread, then top with thinly sliced tomato and Kraft slim cut mozzarella slices. Perfection!

Pesto Turkey Panini

I love any excuse to use pesto! For this recipe, spread pesto sauce on the bread of your choice, and follow with a layer of turkey breast, Kraft Mozzarella slices and fresh cut tomato slices. Cook it, and serve with a fresh caesar salad! Voila!

Roast Beef & Swiss Panini

This is a crowd fav amongst our friend group and family! Spread dijon mustard on both slices of your bread of choice, and add Kraft sliced cheddar cheese and roast beef. Cook your panini, top with caramelized onion and enjoy!

Veg Head Panini

Every good party needs an option for our vegetarian friends, but even as a meat eater, I still like this option for a dinner when you want to sneak in the veggies! Spread pesto on a sliced Ciabatta roll, add sliced pre-sautéed veggies of your choice like eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, red peppers. Top with Kraft Mozzarella, cook, and enjoy!

BBQ Chicken Panini

I love using this panini recipe as an option to give new life to my leftovers. Add Kraft BBQ Sauce to last night’s grilled chicken or pork, a few slices of Kraft Mild Cheddar cheese with sliced red onion, and cook! I’d personally serve this with a side of baked beans or potatoes, but that’s just my humble Southern opinion.

Brie & Apple Panini

In case you didn’t know, ham and apple make a winning combination. Thinly slice green apple and add sliced Brie on a baguette. Layer on Hillshire farm ultra thin oven roasted ham, then press that panini! Serve with a buffet of chips (like barbecue, salt and vinegar, etc.) and enjoy!

Italian Panini

Start with your bread of choice and drizzle olive oil and red wine vinegar on each slice. Add sliced provolone cheese, Hillshire Farm thinly sliced ham, oven roasted turkey breast, and Pepperoncini. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, dip it in some marinara sauce!

Cuban Panini

I love this take on the sub-shop classic Cuban sandwich! Grab a sub roll and spread mustard (Dijon or regular) on both sides. Add sliced dill pickle, thinly sliced ham and Kraft Swiss cheese. This is one you’ll want to make on the reg!

Chipotle Chicken Ranch Panini

For this recipe, grab sourdough bread and spread Kraft Classic Ranch Dressing on each slice. Then, layer on Hillshire Farm Chicken breast, fresh sliced tomato, chipotle seasoning, and top with cheddar or pepper jack cheese!
