Smooth Sailing

In Partnership with KareCo
We talked to Chelsea from AR and here’s what she had to say:
Q
Tell us about your hair + hair care routine.

A
I have long, straight hair that is rarely styled due to the fact that it dries straight, so I usually just let it air dry after brushing it out. I use Fekkai One shampoo and conditioner and It’s a 10 leave-in conditioner.
Q
Tell us about your experience with the KareCo Tangle Buster Brush.

A
I loved this brush so much more than my Wet Brush! It’s really bad about not completely getting all my hair brushed out and so I end up with tangles on the underside of my hair. They are so painful to brush out and this brush eliminated that issue.
Q
Where do you get your hair inspiration?

A
When I was 15, I was diagnosed with lymphoma and had to complete a year of chemotherapy. During this time, I lost my hair and it felt like it took forever to get it back to where I could pull it up. Since then, I’ve gotten my inspiration from the lady who used to make my wigs. She’s very adamant about not damaging my hair or processing it, leaving my hair healthy and smooth.
Q
Who would you recommend a KareCo Tangle Buster Brush to?

A
I will tell my sister-in-law since she has daughters with tender heads. I’d also recommend it to the dads I know that struggle with getting their daughters to be still long enough to brush their hair.
Q
What was your favorite design element of the KareCo Tangle Buster Brush?

A
Sturdiness was my favorite element since my other brush doesn’t hold up as well when going through my hair. It tends to slip out before detangling any knots. This one was up for the task.
This brush would have prevented a lot of stressful mornings had it been around when I was a kid.
