A Day In The Sun

“Since the late 70's, the Sunprint Kit has been an easy, inexpensive, hands-on activity for curious learners of all ages. For the sake of nostalgia x curing those winter blues, we thought it deserved another day in the sun. The only supplies you need [other than the kit] are: sun, water, and a little creativity. Curious how it works? When exposed to sunlight, solar paper undergoes a chemical reaction that produces a “cyanotype” or blueprint. To get started, take your imagination outside + find a flower, leaf, or any object that inspires you. Arrange it on the paper x set it in the sun for a few minutes. Rinse with water + watch as an image appears. It’s not only a great craft [for kids x adults alike], but moonlights as a budget-friendly way to add art to your home.      ”
